About the role
Fisher HR is recruiting a Design Director in Dubai. The role leads design strategy and oversees design work across projects, managing architects, engineers and external design consultants.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design strategy and oversee design activities across projects
- Manage architects, engineers and external design consultants
- Review and approve design concepts, drawings and technical submissions
- Ensure designs meet project requirements, budgets, timelines and quality standards
- Coordinate with planning, construction and commercial teams
- Identify opportunities to improve designs and optimise costs
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and authority requirements
Required profile
- 15-20 years of relevant professional experience, including mandatory experience on real estate development projects
- Proven experience leading design teams and managing consultants
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
