Director, International Market Access BBU & OBU

About the role

The Director, International Market Access BBU & OBU will be based in Dubai and will lead pricing, reimbursement and value‑strategy execution for oncology and biopharmaceutical portfolios across MEA, Asia and LATAM. The role connects global, regional and local teams to develop compelling value propositions, launch sequencing and access scenarios for first‑wave markets, ensuring that innovative therapies reach patients quickly and affordably.

Key responsibilities

• Drive International AI substantiation tools and pioneer innovative access approaches for new assets across diverse market archetypes.
• Advise and collaborate with OMAP/GMAP and Global Governmental Affairs on strategic payer‑policy shaping.
• Strengthen Marketing Company capabilities and share standards across the region.
• Co‑develop and implement integrated market access strategies for BBU (R&I, CVRM, V&I) and OBU, aligned with global and regional priorities.
• Lead planning for pipeline and in‑line products, focusing on priority markets to secure strong reimbursement and pricing outcomes.
• Support affiliates navigating payer, HTA and reimbursement environments; identify risks and opportunities amid geopolitical shifts.
• Develop and roll out capability‑building initiatives, frameworks, tools and training programs for Middle East, Asia‑Pacific and Latin America.
• Coach and mentor regional and local market access teams to prepare for wave‑1 launches.
• Lead simplification and optimisation of pricing governance and financial processes, ensuring consistency in pricing approval workflows and contracting approaches.

Required profile

• Senior leader with extensive experience in international market access, pricing and reimbursement within oncology or biopharma.
• Proven ability to influence payers, policy makers and cross‑functional stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Strong understanding of diverse payer systems, HTA processes and evolving funding models.
• Track record of building capabilities and leading high‑performing teams in complex, multi‑market environments.
