Director of Academic Excellence (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a visionary leader to head its academic strategy. You will translate cutting‑edge learning science into actionable curriculum, drive execution across partner schools, and champion the model on a global stage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that turn research into curriculum design, motivational systems, and platform architecture.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to keep school teams aligned, accountable, and results‑focused.
• Integrate data, stakeholder interviews, and observations into ecosystem assessments that pinpoint obstacles to accelerated learning and propose concrete solutions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback loops, and milestone management.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at high‑profile forums, including keynote presentations and engagements with Ministries of Education.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a closely related field.
• Proven track record of leading academic programs that deliver measurable learning outcomes.
• Experience scaling AI‑driven tutoring or mastery‑based advancement systems across multiple schools.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence policymakers and education leaders worldwide.
