About the role

The Director of Business Development will lead strategic growth for L3Harris' multi‑billion‑dollar global pipeline of C5ISR system opportunities in the United Arab Emirates. This senior position shapes sector strategy, drives cross‑functional collaboration, and advances AI‑enabled solutions for international defense markets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a 3‑year global new‑business pipeline and exceed international operating‑plan targets.
• Lead globally distributed, cross‑functional teams to pursue complex C5ISR opportunities.
• Design and execute enterprise‑level campaigns that integrate capabilities across space, air, land, sea and cyber domains.
• Shape long‑term business strategy and promote differentiated, AI‑enabled offerings aligned with customer needs.
• Leverage strategic partnerships and commercial technologies to accelerate solution development.
• Strengthen market positioning through senior‑level customer engagements, solution demonstrations, and thought‑leadership communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 15 years related experience, or graduate degree with 13 years, or 19 years without a degree.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale, multi‑year pipelines in defense, aerospace or advanced‑technology sectors.
• Experience managing complex international pursuits and collaborating with global teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to integrate advanced technologies, including AI, into new solutions.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with customers, partners and executive leadership.
