Director of Recreation

About the role

The Director of Recreation will lead all leisure and recreational activities at The Cove Rotana Resort, ensuring a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for guests and staff. This senior position reports directly to senior management and plays a key role in enhancing the resort’s guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch recreational programs for guests and employees.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise a team of recreation staff.
• Maintain all recreational facilities to meet safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events and activities.
• Monitor program performance, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in recreational or leisure management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for recreational activities.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
