Director/Principal for New Pre‑K to Grade 1 Campus

About the role

Ignite School is seeking an experienced educational leader to serve as Director/Principal for a purpose‑built Pre‑K to Grade 1 campus in Dubai. The campus will open for the 2027/28 academic year, and the appointed leader will join in 2026/27 to guide the school through its final development and launch phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, preparation, and operational readiness for the new 820‑seat campus.
• Work closely with the Board of Trustees, KHDA, and existing school leadership to meet all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement campus policies, procedures, and systems aligned with the school’s mission and vision.
• Oversee student recruitment, admissions planning, and enrolment growth.
• Manage staff planning, recruitment, and the transition of staff, students, and families to the new facility.
• Serve as the primary KHDA contact for communications, inspections, and regulatory visits.
• Ensure health, safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement of the campus.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior educational leader (Director, Principal, or equivalent).
• Visionary mindset with the ability to establish culture, systems, and policies from inception.
• Strong knowledge of KHDA regulations and compliance processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning, operational management, and staff recruitment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with boards, regulators, and families.
