Document Controller – Dubai

About the role

The Document Controller will manage, archive, and distribute technical project documentation for high‑rise residential and commercial construction projects in Dubai. This role ensures that all drawings, submittals, RFIs, and correspondence are accurately tracked and readily available to project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, track and archive engineering drawings, structural records and all technical project documents.
• Process submittals, RFIs, material approvals, site instruction letters and contractor correspondence.
• Maintain revision control, distribution logs and incoming/outgoing registers.
• Administer Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and Aconex portals throughout project lifecycles.
• Coordinate document flows between clients, consultants, project managers and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with 3‑5 years of UAE document control experience in contracting or building construction.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Aconex.
• Experience using EDMS platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for log management.
