Document Controller for Large Wastewater Project

About the role

The Document Controller will lead the establishment and daily operation of the document control system for a major wastewater treatment and pipeline construction project in Ras Al Khaimah. The role ensures all project documentation is properly classified, approved, distributed and archived.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the Document Management Plan (DMP) and coding conventions in line with ISO 19650.
• Configure and operate the Thinkproject platform, handling receipt, registration, distribution and archiving of all documents.
• Track approval workflows, issue early warnings on review periods and produce regular status reports.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor document interfaces, including training, account setup and quality assessment.
• Maintain quality, HSE, commissioning and hand‑over documentation, ensuring audit trails and compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of document control experience, preferably in wastewater treatment or pipeline construction.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Certificates approved by Ras Al Khaimah municipality are a plus.
