Driver & Clerk – Hospital Transport Support

About the role

The role involves performing scheduled driving duties, supporting the Transport Supervisor, and handling a wide range of transport assignments across the UAE for American Hospital Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled driving tasks including minibus collections, airport pickups, visa, ministry, bank, laboratory, mail and other UAE‑wide assignments.
• Support the Transport Supervisor and cover his duties during absences.
• Conduct daily safety checks and maintain vehicles to required standards.
• Ensure compliance with road transport regulations, signage and traffic conditions.
• Complete incident reports and communicate them to the Quality Improvement department.
• Provide recommendations to improve system utilization and monitor reports and statistics.
• Be on call for emergencies, lab runs and other urgent transport needs.
• Contribute to cost and fuel consumption reduction and implement sustainable practices.

Required profile

• Trade School or High School graduate.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Minimum two years of driver experience.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards.
• Ability to read and write English.
