Driver Remedial Trainer – Dubai

About the role

The Remedial Trainer supports the rehabilitation and performance improvement of drivers through structured coaching, counselling, training and practical assessments. The role identifies root causes of poor performance, builds driver confidence and competence, and prepares drivers to safely return to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct listening sessions with drivers and Operations to uncover performance issues and assess capability, behaviour and readiness for remedial training.
• Provide one‑to‑one coaching and counselling to address performance, behavioural and confidence concerns.
• Deliver remedial training programmes covering safe driving, defensive driving, traffic regulations, customer service and professional driver behaviour.
• Coach drivers to improve earning potential through better operational practices and customer engagement.
• Conduct practical driving assessments and ensure drivers meet required knowledge, skills and behaviours before recommending return to operations.
• Partner with Operations to monitor post‑training improvements and provide follow‑up coaching as needed.
• Maintain accurate assessment records, training documentation and driver progress reports.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends and recommend targeted interventions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (relevant field).
