Duty Manager

About the role

FIVE Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Duty Manager in Dubai. The role combines ownership of the hotel lobby and public areas with hands-on guest service, complaint handling and coordination of services for long-stay guests. The advertised compensation is a fixed monthly salary of AED 4,400.

Key responsibilities

• Preside over the hotel lobby and other public areas, especially during busy periods, creating a five-star atmosphere.
• Welcome VIP guests and corporate clients on arrival and provide personalised assistance, with particular focus on VIP guests and long-stay patrons.
• Manage and resolve guest complaints quickly and accurately.
• Coordinate services and special amenities for long-stay guests.
• Apply credit procedures correctly and stay up to date with products, policies and emergency procedures.
• Manage health and safety procedures, including fire walks and food safety investigations.
• Monitor and evaluate guest satisfaction reports and implement improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role managing a diverse team in a luxury hotel in the UAE.
• Previous service experience is beneficial.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong teamwork, communication and customer satisfaction skills.
