Electrical Engineer – Road Lighting (LED)

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead LED road lighting projects in Dubai. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering safe, sustainable infrastructure across the Gulf region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with utility agencies, contractors and the Resident Engineer to obtain construction approvals and manage design changes.
• Monitor material submissions, update schedules and oversee inspection, surveying and testing of MEP works.
• Review and approve contractor MEP shop drawings, prepare meeting minutes and verify as‑built utility drawings.
• Lead commissioning activities, ensuring all inspections and tests are completed to obtain final N.O.C.s.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing construction and supervising road/street lighting (LED) projects.
• Proven ability to work with government authorities such as DEWA, RTA and DM.
• Professional Engineer registration may be required.
