About the role
The electrician will support the Maintenance and Electrical Supervisor to ensure reliable plant operations, minimise downtime and extend asset life in a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform breakdown and corrective electrical maintenance, analyse failures and implement preventive actions.
- Execute preventive maintenance plans, participate in plant shutdowns and monitor equipment for scheduled upkeep.
- Install electrical equipment for new projects and retrofit existing machines.
- Complete ERP activity sheets, update the Asset Management System and adhere to HSE and 5S standards.
Required profile
- Secondary School Certificate with a vocational electrician qualification.
- 4‑5 years of electrical maintenance experience on heavy industrial machinery in a large plant.
- Good knowledge of PLC drive troubleshooting and programming; SAP maintenance module training is a plus.
