Employee Relations Manager - Luxury Retail

About the role

A well-established retail company, known for its people-first approach, is looking for an Employee Relations Manager in Dubai. The role handles employee relations for a luxury retailer in the UAE, ensuring alignment with organisational policies and a positive work environment. It calls for strong knowledge of HR compliance and governance within the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee relations activities in line with labour laws and company policies
• Act as the main point of contact for resolving employee concerns and grievances
• Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and satisfaction
• Advise managers on employee relations and HR matters
• Investigate workplace issues and recommend appropriate action
• Draft and review employee-related policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the HR team and monitor and report on employee relations trends in retail

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Proven expertise in employee relations within the retail industry
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and employment regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
