Employee Relations Partner

About the role

The Employee Relations Department manages workplace relationships, resolves conflicts, promotes communication and ensures compliance with labour laws and company policies. As an Employee Relations Partner, you will give high-quality, timely and accurate advice, support and coaching to employees and managers, and partner with leaders to apply the organisation's policies and procedures fairly and consistently while protecting the employment brand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide solid partnerships with stakeholders on employee relations case management across the Emirates Group.
• Advise, guide and coach on employee-related matters to promote best practice, reduce risk and align business units with the EK brand.
• Manage and resolve complex employee issues at all levels, including capability and disciplinary actions, performance management, policy interpretation and investigations, conducting fair and consistent investigations and hearings.
• Identify and recommend corrective actions, process improvements, policy revisions and employee relations enhancements.
• Monitor employee relations trends through data analysis and recommend solutions.
• Build strong relationships with the business and deliver training and workshops for managers and employees on case management.
• Identify business improvement opportunities and manage related projects end to end.
• Work with the HRBP to plan, design and implement key projects and HR change initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Employee Relations or Human Resources.
• Experience in a customer or business-facing advisory role.
• Experience in an HR advisory role.

Required skills

• Knowledge of employment law, employee relations procedures and processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to explain policy to managers and employees.
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels and to analyse and identify trends.
