Engagement Manager / Principal - Government and Public Institutions, Creative Industries and Media

About the role

Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm, is seeking an Engagement Manager or Principal to lead project teams in its Government and Public Institutions practice, covering the creative industries and media sector in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Engagement Managers run projects day to day, guiding teams from hypothesis to solution and ensuring practical, coherent recommendations. Principals lead complex client projects and aspects of the client relationship and commercial process, partnering with Partners and becoming trusted advisors to senior clients.

Required profile

• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience, including at a top-tier strategy consulting firm
• Experience in media, creative industries or video gaming
• Experience advising government entities on regulatory and sector development mandates in these sectors, preferably in the GCC
• Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
• Willingness to travel
