About the role

Fortes Education is seeking an outstanding English Teacher to join Sunmarke School in Dubai, commencing in January 2027. The role involves delivering the English curriculum across Key Stage 3, I/GCSE and potentially A Level and IB programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging English lessons for KS3 and I/GCSE students.
• Contribute to the school’s extra‑curricular activities and wider campus life.
• Utilise educational technology and apps to enrich student learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the school’s Positive Education ethos.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Ed. or B.A. with PGCE in English and QTS.
• Dynamic, enthusiastic and well‑qualified with a strong academic background.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using educational apps and technology for classroom enhancement.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to various curricula (National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Level, IB).
