About the role
techcarrot FZ LLC is looking for an experienced ERP IT Application Engineer with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) finance functional expertise. The role works closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations and IT teams to understand business requirements, improve processes, support D365 F&O and deliver effective ERP solutions in a manufacturing environment. It sits alongside the IT Applications Manager and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements from Finance and other stakeholders
- Document As-Is and To-Be processes and identify improvements
- Configure, support and troubleshoot D365 F&O Finance functionality
- Support GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Financial Dimensions, VAT, Period Closing and Cost Accounting
- Understand integration between Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse and Production
- Support ERP implementation, enhancements, testing, UAT, go-live and post-go-live activities
- Prepare functional specifications, process flows, SOPs and user guides
- Coordinate with D365 F&O implementation partners and technical teams
- Provide user training and functional support
- Identify opportunities to improve ERP processes, controls and system efficiency
Required profile
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in ERP implementation, enhancement or support projects
- Strong As-Is / To-Be process mapping and business analysis skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
Required skills
- Strong functional experience in D365 Finance
- Good understanding of SCM, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management and Production
- Preferred: manufacturing environment experience (furniture, joinery, cabinetry), Production Costing, Inventory Valuation and Manufacturing Finance
- Preferred: knowledge of UAE VAT, D365 F&O Finance certification, ERP integrations and Power BI
- Preferred: CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent qualification
