ERP IT Application Engineer - Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O

About the role

techcarrot FZ LLC is looking for an experienced ERP IT Application Engineer with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) finance functional expertise. The role works closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations and IT teams to understand business requirements, improve processes, support D365 F&O and deliver effective ERP solutions in a manufacturing environment. It sits alongside the IT Applications Manager and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements from Finance and other stakeholders
• Document As-Is and To-Be processes and identify improvements
• Configure, support and troubleshoot D365 F&O Finance functionality
• Support GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Financial Dimensions, VAT, Period Closing and Cost Accounting
• Understand integration between Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse and Production
• Support ERP implementation, enhancements, testing, UAT, go-live and post-go-live activities
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, SOPs and user guides
• Coordinate with D365 F&O implementation partners and technical teams
• Provide user training and functional support
• Identify opportunities to improve ERP processes, controls and system efficiency

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in ERP implementation, enhancement or support projects
• Strong As-Is / To-Be process mapping and business analysis skills
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Strong functional experience in D365 Finance
• Good understanding of SCM, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management and Production
• Preferred: manufacturing environment experience (furniture, joinery, cabinetry), Production Costing, Inventory Valuation and Manufacturing Finance
• Preferred: knowledge of UAE VAT, D365 F&O Finance certification, ERP integrations and Power BI
• Preferred: CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent qualification
