Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead planning, scheduling and project control activities for major infrastructure and community development projects in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Review and align contractor baseline schedules with contract conditions and Parsons recommended practices.
• Develop and maintain a master schedule integrating multiple packages and their interdependencies.
• Identify potential delays, conduct "what‑if" analyses and recommend mitigation measures.
• Prepare regular progress and monthly reports, including program analysis and presentations on milestones.
• Perform detailed delay analysis using time‑impact and window analysis methods for claims such as extensions of time.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and consultants to resolve scheduling issues and finalize program reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 12 years of planning and scheduling experience on community development or major infrastructure projects, preferably in the Gulf region.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices, regulations and construction processes.
