Experienced Mason – Stone Cutting & Laying

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mason to join our construction team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, handling stone cutting, dressing, and laying while using both modern power tools and traditional hand tools.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain tools and workspaces in safe, organized condition.
• Cut, shape, and dress stone and other masonry materials.
• Lift, carry, and accurately place prepared blocks and stones.
• Read and follow technical drawings and specifications.
• Train and mentor apprentices on best practices.
• Mix cement and mortar to required specifications.
• Restore old or damaged masonry structures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a mason with a strong portfolio of completed work.
• Ability to work safely on construction sites and handle physical demands.
• Good eye for detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Willingness to train junior staff and share expertise.
