Facilities Training Supervisor

About the role

The Facilities Training Supervisor will design, coordinate and deliver training programmes for the Facilities and Cleaning departments of Dubai Metro. This role ensures that both in‑house and outsourced staff receive initial and refresher training that meets operational and competency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify current and future training needs for all Facilities roles and develop a competency matrix.
• Design and implement initial and refresher training frameworks for supervisors, housekeeping staff, office assistants and outsourced personnel.
• Draft, review and continuously improve training materials based on audit findings, performance gaps and operational trends.
• Coordinate with the Learning & Development department to align training programmes with competency requirements.
• Plan and schedule training activities to minimise impact on daily operations and optimise resource use.
• Manage relationships with training suppliers, manpower service providers and equipment vendors to ensure cost‑effective delivery.
• Deliver training sessions, conduct assessments and provide detailed feedback on learner progress.
• Maintain compliance with competency and certification standards while supporting business growth objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and delivering training programmes for facilities or cleaning teams.
• Ability to work closely with Learning & Development and external training providers.
• Strong understanding of competency management procedures and audit requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills to plan training without disrupting daily operations.
