Family Medicine Consultant/Specialist – Comprehensive Primary Care

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its continuity‑based primary‑care services. The organisation seeks an experienced Family Medicine Consultant/Specialist to deliver comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary‑care across all age groups, addressing acute, chronic and preventive health needs.
• Diagnose and manage common medical conditions and long‑term diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
• Deliver preventive services including vaccinations, health screenings, lifestyle counselling and risk‑factor management.
• Coordinate referrals, ensure continuity of care with specialists, diagnostic services and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, patient education records and follow‑up plans.
• Participate in quality‑improvement, patient‑safety and preventive‑health initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Family Medicine Consultant/Specialist with recognised qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/MRCGP, Royal College Canada, FRACGP, Arab Board, etc.).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Strong clinical judgement, commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills with culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations, documentation standards and hospital governance.
• Interest in long‑term career development within a premium UAE healthcare setting.
