Medical Practitioner – Telemedicine

About the role

The Medical Practitioner will work under the supervision of senior physicians to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based patient care through telemedicine services. The role involves clinical assessment, treatment planning and participation in departmental quality initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose and treat patients under senior physician consent, including participation in daily ward rounds and outpatient reviews.
• Organise and follow up diagnostic tests, document clinical information promptly, and modify treatment plans with physician approval.
• Provide on‑call coverage on a rotational basis, liaise with other specialties, and support interns and medical students.
• Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, continued medical education and departmental research activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a special certificate; for non‑UAE nationals, at least 2 years post‑internship experience (hospital, PHC, ER, etc.).
• Successful completion of internship; UAE graduates may apply directly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and maintain patient confidentiality.
