Fashion Merchandiser – Demand Planning & Forecasting

About the role

Namshi, the Middle East’s leading online fashion destination, is looking for a dynamic Fashion Merchandiser to join its Merchandising team. You will drive product strategy, optimise inventory, and support the Elevated Fashion category across GCC markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead category sales forecasting and demand management for GCC markets.
• Analyse sales trends and build statistical planning models.
• Prepare bottom‑up brand plans that align with category targets.
• Create a 12‑month rolling forecast to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Manage stock requirements, coordinate purchases, and monitor inventory replenishment across territories.
• Collaborate with Buying and business leads to resolve stock shortages.
• Optimise inventory while balancing working‑capital constraints.
• Oversee stock transfers, reconcile discrepancies, and manage movements with suppliers and warehouses.
• Develop pricing and discount strategies to maximise margin and sell‑through.
• Track category performance and prepare weekly and quarterly performance decks for leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or Statistics.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting and data modelling within a multi‑branded eCommerce environment.
• Strong knowledge of fashion buying in an eCommerce setting.
• Experience managing P&L and working cross‑functionally.
