About the role
The F&B Captain will coordinate service operations for group functions, ensuring seamless communication between chefs, stewards, and guests. This role is responsible for preparing checks, managing banquet set‑ups, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the venue.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards and ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are ready for service.
- Prepare and present group checks for payment and verify proper table centrepieces.
- Inspect china, glass, and silver for cleanliness and presentation before use.
- Check in with guests to confirm satisfaction and handle special dietary requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to safety, security, and uniform standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant F&B experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
