Female Health & Safety Officer

About the role

LEAMS Education is seeking a qualified Female Health & Safety Officer to oversee and enforce health and safety standards across its school campuses in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on safeguarding students, staff, and property by ensuring compliance with KHDA, DHA, and Dubai Municipality regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and standards for the school.
• Conduct regular training for staff and students on safety best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the on‑site isolation room and coordinate daily cleaning and sanitisation protocols.
• Perform fire safety audits, coordinate with Civil Defense, and lead evacuation drills.
• Execute contact‑tracing activities using the HASANA system and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to emergencies, update emergency contact lists, and ensure rapid incident reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to enforce safety measures.
• Identify hazards, conduct risk analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare statistical reports on incidents and safety performance for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Health & Safety Officer in a school environment.
• NEBOSH and IOSH certifications are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of KHDA, DHA, and Dubai Municipality safety regulations.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively during emergencies.
