Field Procurement Buyer – Al Quoz, Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Field Procurement Buyer to join Johnson Controls in Al Quoz, Dubai. The role will manage end‑to‑end sourcing of materials and services, support project and operational procurement, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute competitive bids (RFx), evaluate quotes and negotiate pricing, delivery, payment terms and contracts.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify cost‑reduction, value‑engineering and process‑improvement opportunities to enhance project margins.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and JCI procurement systems/ERPs to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
• Monitor supply‑chain risks such as shortages, capacity constraints and sole‑source dependencies, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in buying, purchasing, procurement or supply‑chain roles.
• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in a field‑procurement or project environment, preferably within HVAC, controls or security categories.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and multi‑tasking abilities in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Iscala).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
