Field Service Technician – CNC Woodworking Machinery (UAE/GCC)

About the role

We are expanding our technical team and need a Field Service Technician to install, commission, maintain and repair CNC woodworking machines across the UAE and the wider GCC region. The role involves hands‑on work on‑site, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and software issues, and delivering training to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, test and maintain CNC woodworking machines.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and software‑related faults.
• Perform on‑site repairs and preventive maintenance visits.
• Provide customer training on machine operation and best practices.
• Complete service reports and follow internal service procedures.
• Travel across the GCC for short‑term service assignments.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in woodworking machinery.
• Experience with CNC brands such as HOLZ‑HER, Biesse, SCM, Homag or similar.
• Ability to work independently while following structured processes.
• Problem‑solving mindset and customer‑oriented attitude.
• Based in the UAE with a valid UAE driving licence and willingness to travel frequently.
• Professional communication skills when dealing with customers.
