Field Service Technician – Volvo Construction Equipment

About the role

Al Futtaim Group is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to maintain, repair and troubleshoot Volvo construction equipment at customer sites across Dubai. The role ensures machine reliability, minimizes downtime and delivers high‑quality technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Remove, install, disassemble and re‑assemble major components such as engines, transmissions and axles.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, engine and transmission systems using approved service procedures and technical documentation.
• Conduct machine inspections, identify maintenance needs and recommend additional service opportunities.
• Maintain accurate service records, job cards and timesheets in line with quality and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering degree.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing Volvo or other construction equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and service documentation.
