About the role
Combuzz HR Solutions is hiring a Finance Assistant in Abu Dhabi on a contract basis. The role covers supplier invoicing, payments, petty cash and support for month-end closing.
Key responsibilities
- Process and verify supplier invoices, making sure purchase orders, goods receipt notes and supporting documents are in order.
- Prepare supplier payments and handle petty cash transactions.
- Maintain accurate supplier accounts and petty cash records.
- Assist with month-end closing, accruals and expense provisions.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Process direct expense invoices and track insurance payments, policies and renewals.
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and internal financial procedures.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience in accounts payable, invoice processing and petty cash management.
- Good knowledge of VAT, reconciliations and accounting procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Required skills
- Experience with Orion accounting software is highly preferred.
