Finance Assistant (UAE National)

About the role

The Finance Assistant supports the Financial Planning Manager and the wider finance team in day‑to‑day planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis activities across the group’s financial services business and related sectors in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts and financial plans for multiple business units.
• Consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual management reports and perform variance analysis.
• Prepare routine and ad‑hoc financial reports, dashboards and presentations for management review.
• Support general finance tasks such as invoice review, expense verification and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather data and documentation required for reporting cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience or internship exposure in finance, accounting, audit or financial planning.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic financial modelling).
• Competence with Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing management presentations.
• Familiarity with accounting and reporting systems, financial templates and trackers.
