Finance Controller (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to join our team on a 12‑month outsourced contract in Dubai. You will be responsible for overseeing project budgets, controlling costs, and providing financial insights that drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project budgets throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Monitor and control project costs, including labour, materials and overhead expenses.
• Analyze budget variances and investigate cost overruns.
• Recommend and implement cost‑saving initiatives to improve project profitability.
• Prepare financial reports, cost analyses and management presentations.
• Analyze P&L performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Forecast revenue streams and support financial planning activities.
• Monitor and analyse sales pipelines, identifying financial risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Sales, Operations and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support business decision‑making through financial insights and analysis.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience in cost control and project management.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and project cost management.
• Experience with project management or cost‑control tools such as Primavera or Deltek is an advantage.
