Finance Lecturer

About the role

The Finance Lecturer will join Curtin University Dubai’s School of Business, reporting to the Head of School. The role involves delivering high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate finance courses, fostering analytical thinking and practical problem‑solving, and staying current with market and regulatory developments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials and practical sessions in finance‑related subjects.
• Design, administer and assess assignments, exams and projects, providing timely feedback.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to support student progression and career readiness.
• Contribute to curriculum development, teaching quality improvement and industry‑linked initiatives.
• Participate in research, industry collaboration and community engagement activities.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in Finance or a closely related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of successful teaching experience at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience engaging with a diverse student body.
