Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will manage the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with UAE regulations, and effective cash flow management. This role requires strong accounting knowledge and the ability to work independently and within a team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT filing and FTA requirements.
• Perform bank reconciliations, manage cash flow, and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll according to UAE Labour Law and WPS, handling salaries, overtime, deductions, and EOSB.
• Conduct financial analysis, produce reports and presentations for management, and provide financial recommendations.
• Manage foreign remittance transactions, including currency exchange and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial records, enter data into accounting software, and keep documentation up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• CPA or ACCA qualification (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, and UAE tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
