Finance Supervisor (Arabic Speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Finance Supervisor who will lead a team of around 10 finance professionals in the UAE. The role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving continuous improvement of finance processes while complying with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the finance and accounting team, including journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, fixed assets and general ledger.
• Ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closing and preparation of financial and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, corporate tax and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee internal controls and drive ERP/system enhancements.
• Train, guide and evaluate team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7–10 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Hands‑on leadership style with high integrity and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Focus or Odoo.
