Financial Analyst – Planning & Budgeting (Retail)

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support the Business Planning & Analysis (BP&A) team in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for Al-Futtaim Retail. The role requires accurate, timely delivery of reports, active participation in automation projects and strong collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the BP&A team in managing the strategic plan, budget and forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Prepare, follow‑up and circulate regular and ad‑hoc financial reports and analyses, supporting contingency planning.
• Support automation initiatives and project reporting, delivering accurate updates to stakeholders.
• Provide administrative assistance to the BP&A head and team, ensuring smooth operations.

Required profile

• Commerce graduate with a focus on finance or systems.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in budgeting, financial or management reporting, preferably within the retail sector in the Middle East.
• Proficiency with accounting software, especially ERP solutions such as SAP.
• Strong analytical, planning and organisational abilities with solid business acumen.
