Fit-Out Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

The Fit-Out Senior Planning Engineer will develop, monitor and control schedules for interior fit‑out projects. You will ensure timely execution by coordinating design, procurement and site teams, tracking progress and analysing delays.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed baseline programmes based on project scope and contract requirements.
• Prepare construction schedules covering design, procurement, approvals, site execution, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Define critical path activities and project milestones.
• Track daily/weekly/monthly progress against the baseline and produce progress reports, dashboards and S‑curves.
• Identify delays, propose mitigation plans and support extension of time (EOT) claims.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement and design teams to align schedules.
• Monitor manpower, equipment and productivity rates, highlighting resource gaps.
• Track long‑lead items, material procurement schedules and submittal approvals.
• Maintain updated schedules using planning software and ensure proper documentation for audits.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of experience in planning interior fit‑out projects.
• Proficiency with planning software for schedule creation and updates.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
