Fitness Instructor – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join Fairmont The Palm, a world‑class resort on Palm Jumeirah, as a Fitness Instructor. You will deliver high‑quality fitness experiences to guests, ensuring safety, cleanliness and exceptional service in a vibrant health‑club environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests.
• Supervise daily fitness operations, ensuring protocols, procedures and safety standards are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the fitness area and all equipment.
• Conduct regular equipment checks, report work orders and coordinate service maintenance.
• Plan and lead personal training, group classes and in‑service education sessions (e.g., Aqua, HIIT, Boot camp, Boxing).
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of strength and cardio equipment, proper use and alignment.
• Support recruitment, training and scheduling of fitness staff.
• Balance operational, administrative and guest‑service needs while adhering to departmental policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Fitness Instructor.
• Relevant fitness certification (preferred) and CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Computer literate.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to work cohesively within a team.
• Guest‑focused attitude, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
