About the role
The Food Runner supports the Laguna Beach Restaurant & Bar at Sofitel Dubai The Palm by ensuring smooth service flow between the kitchen and guests. This on‑site position requires a friendly, energetic attitude and a passion for hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the outlet for operation, including mise‑en‑place, table setting, and light cleaning.
- Take food and beverage orders, upsell where possible, and record sales using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks according to established standards and presentation guidelines.
- Clear tables, transport dirty dishes, and maintain a clean work station.
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Adapt to special guest requests and follow brand standards.
Required profile
- Prior experience in a luxury hotel or established restaurant environment.
- Fun, energetic personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Already based in the United Arab Emirates.
- Fluent English speaker.
