About the role

The Food Runner supports the Laguna Beach Restaurant & Bar at Sofitel Dubai The Palm by ensuring smooth service flow between the kitchen and guests. This on‑site position requires a friendly, energetic attitude and a passion for hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the outlet for operation, including mise‑en‑place, table setting, and light cleaning.
• Take food and beverage orders, upsell where possible, and record sales using the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks according to established standards and presentation guidelines.
• Clear tables, transport dirty dishes, and maintain a clean work station.
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Adapt to special guest requests and follow brand standards.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a luxury hotel or established restaurant environment.
• Fun, energetic personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Already based in the United Arab Emirates.
• Fluent English speaker.
