Forklift Operator – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Forklift Operator will safely operate counter‑balance, reach or VNA forklifts to move, stack and retrieve pallets across the distribution centre. You will support receiving, put‑away, replenishment, picking and dispatch activities while meeting productivity and safety targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload inbound/outbound trucks and containers according to dispatch schedules.
• Perform put‑away of received stock into designated bins using WMS instructions.
• Support replenishment of pick faces from reserve or bulk storage to maintain pick availability.
• Conduct pre‑shift equipment inspections and report any faults immediately.
• Maintain accuracy in pallet/location scanning with RF devices and assist with cycle counts and stock audits.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid UAE forklift operating licence/certification.
• 1–2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or DC environment.
• Experience with WMS/RF scanning systems preferred (e.g., Oracle, Dematic).

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating counter‑balance, reach or VNA forklifts.
• Ability to use RF scanning devices and follow WMS directives.
• Knowledge of safety and QHSE protocols, including PPE usage.
