About the role
The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for studying material requisitions from various projects, sourcing ideal suppliers, negotiating optimal prices, and managing logistics for delivery. The role also includes maintaining inventory levels according to prescribed norms.
Key responsibilities
- Review project-specific MEP material requisitions and BOQs.
- Prepare procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
- Anticipate material lead times and ensure proactive ordering.
- Source suppliers, negotiate prices, and manage delivery logistics.
- Maintain inventory levels as per company standards.
