French Language Teacher – Enrichment Educator

About the role

The Ivy is seeking a warm, experienced French Language Teacher to deliver high‑quality French classes for children aged 3‑12. Classes are offered in both the Early Education/Nursery Programme and the Enrichment Programme, covering after‑school hours, evenings, weekends and holiday periods.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French lessons for beginner to advanced levels.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different ages and proficiency levels.
• Support reading, writing, conversational skills and school‑related French assistance.
• Communicate progress and classroom information to parents in English.
• Collaborate with the centre’s team to maintain a nurturing, inquiry‑based learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, Languages, Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching French to children.
• Prior experience in a UAE school, nursery or enrichment centre is strongly preferred.
• Strong spoken and written French; good English communication skills.
• Availability for part‑time hours including after‑school, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to complete background and safeguarding checks.
