Front Desk Receptionist

About the role

The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers at our centre. You will ensure a professional, courteous experience for all customers while maintaining an organized and welcoming reception area.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, welcome and direct visitors to the appropriate personnel or department.
• Answer, screen and forward incoming calls efficiently.
• Manage incoming mail and parcels according to management directives.
• Issue tokens for the queue‑management system and handle peak‑hour traffic.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, typing and faxing in both Arabic and English.
• Receive and forward customer complaints to the relevant parties.
• Promote centre services (e.g., comprehensive tests, sensitisation, typing, printing) and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, uncluttered reception counter and prioritize tasks.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or front‑desk roles.
• Ability to handle customers of any nationality, including during peak periods and when dealing with upset clients.
• Any degree from a recognised higher secondary school.
• Successful completion of the RTA interview.

Required skills

• Strong communication abilities in Arabic and English.
• Excellent multitasking, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Technical proficiency for basic office equipment (phone system, fax, copier, computer).
