Fund Accountant – Private Equity (Remote, UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join a growing private equity platform. The role is fully remote with a preference for candidates based in the UAE, supporting the preparation of fund financials and investor reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual fund financial statements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for investment funds and related entities.
• Process capital calls, distributions and investor allocations.
• Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) and reconcile investment portfolios.
• Monitor cash positions and perform bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors and custodians.
• Support year‑end audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Prepare management reports and performance analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and fund documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or CA preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in venture capital, private equity, asset management or a family office.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and investment structures.
• Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements and investor reporting.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
