General Accountant (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

Al Marwan Group is looking for a General Accountant who is fluent in Arabic and English to support its construction, heavy‑machinery and real‑estate operations in Sharjah. The role involves full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, cash‑flow management and expense tracking.
• Assist in budget preparation, cost control and financial forecasting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in the UAE construction, heavy‑machinery or real‑estate sector.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Understanding of financial compliance requirements.
