General Manager Construction (EPC & O&M) – Buildings & Infrastructure

About the role

The developer seeks a seasoned General Manager to lead its construction arm, overseeing both EPC and O&M activities for buildings and infrastructure. This senior leader will drive the execution of a robust project pipeline, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Own full P&L and commercial performance across the EPC and O&M portfolio.
• Guarantee on‑time, on‑budget delivery with disciplined cost, schedule, and risk control.
• Develop bidding, margin, and contract strategies that protect downside and win the right work.
• Maintain and grow client relationships for long‑term account development.
• Build high‑performing project teams and maintain a vetted subcontractor base.

Required profile

• 20+ years of experience in construction, with a proven record of delivering large‑scale building and infrastructure projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong commercial acumen, understanding where margins are created and lost.
• Meticulous, detail‑driven execution with no tolerance for oversight.
• Established network of reliable professionals and subcontractors that can be mobilised quickly.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the full project lifecycle, from tender and design coordination through construction, handover, and O&M.
