General Manager Fund of Funds

About the role

As General Manager of a Fund of Funds, you will own the end‑to‑end investment strategy, from defining the proposition to building the team, raising capital, executing investments and scaling the operation. You will work closely with QuantumLight’s leadership to align the fund’s goals with the broader corporate mission.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Fund of Funds business, leveraging tech, admin and HR resources from the parent company.
• Manage the full lifecycle: capital raising, investor relations, sourcing and executing fund investments, and ongoing portfolio management.
• Set strategic goals and roadmap in line with QuantumLight’s overall mission.
• Build, lead and develop the fundraising and investment team, driving performance and growth.
• Create value for the wider QuantumLight ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven experience building, launching or scaling a new business, product or investment strategy.
• Background in top‑tier strategy consulting, investment banking or venture capital.
• Technical or semi‑technical (STEM) educational background.
• Former founder or experience running your own project is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical mind with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and grow high‑performing teams.
• Confident presenter and negotiator, skilled at closing deals.
