General Manager – Holiday Homes Business

About the role

The General Manager will lead the holiday homes business, ensuring financial targets, operational excellence, and outstanding guest experiences are achieved. This senior position drives revenue growth, oversees daily operations, and shapes the company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute revenue strategies to boost occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
• Lead the sales team to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets, increasing direct bookings and optimizing OTA listings.
• Oversee dynamic pricing models based on market trends, competitor analysis and demand forecasting.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, maintaining high standards of housekeeping, maintenance, guest relations and safety.
• Collaborate with property owners and maintenance teams to ensure property upkeep.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with service providers, vendors and contractors.
• Prepare, manage and control the annual operating budget, monitoring expenses to ensure profitability.
• Provide regular financial reports and analyse key metrics such as occupancy, revenue and costs.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team, setting performance goals and overseeing recruitment and evaluations.
• Drive technology adoption, including property management systems (PMS), CRM and booking platforms.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, licences and health‑and‑safety standards.
